Lanco Solar, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lanco Infratech Ltd, said that it has commissioned 80KwP grid connected solar photovoltaic (PV) power unit at the Parliament House Complex. Lanco Solar was awarded the contract to build, operate and maintain by the Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA), which was the nodal agency for the project designated by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. The Parliament House Complex's rooftop PV energy solution has been running successfully for over four months now, and generates up to 400 units of electricity on a daily basis, Lanco said in a statement.
