Mahindra Navistar Automotives Ltd (MNAL) has rolled out its 5,000th truck from the Chakan plant. “This has taken longer than we anticipated,” Mr Nalin Mehta, Managing Director, said, adding that “we are now running full swing.
The company currently has a network of 56 dealers and over 1,000 service points. By the end of next year it has a target of 80 dealers and 1,800 service points. “We will focus on Mahindra’s tractor and auto dealers becoming our service points,” he said.
During the current fiscal, MNAL plans to launch a slew of new products, including trucks, a new range of buses and fully built ambulances and mobile medical units.
