Bajaj Finserv, the holding company of the various financial services businesses of the Bajaj Group, reported a muted consolidated net profit growth in the second quarter ended September 30, 2018, at ₹704 crore against ₹698 crore in the year-ago period.
Bajaj Finance reported a 54 per cent jump in consolidated net profit at ₹923 crore (₹598 crore in the year-ago quarter). The net profit of Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company was down 30 per cent at ₹182 crore (₹260 crore). Shareholders’ profit after tax of Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company declined 29 per cent to ₹132 crore .
