Global professional services firm Ernst & Young has simplified its name and redesigned its logo.
From July 1, this firm is called EY. Mark Weinberger, who previously served as the Global and Americas Head of Tax, has now become Global Chairman and CEO.
"Shortening our name will provide consistency and ease of use for EY practices and clients around the world", said Weinberger.
Besides unveiling a new logo, EY has adopted ‘Building a better working world’ as its new purpose and tagline.
EY has about 15,000 people on its rolls in India. The global headcount is about 1,87,000 people.
