Madras Fertilizers Ltd has reported a net profit of Rs 46.24 crore on an income of Rs 663.92 crore for the first quarter ended June 30.
During the corresponding period in the previous year, the company reported a net loss of Rs 80.80 crore on an income of Rs 358.69 crore.
The bulk of the income was from urea, according to the company.
