The Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Dharmendra Pradhan, will inaugurate the polypropylene unit of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) in Mangaluru on April 5.
MRPL has set up a polypropylene unit with a production capacity of 4,40,000 tonnes per annum, as part of its phase-III expansion of the refinery.
Prahlad Joshi, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Petroleum and Natural Gas, Ramanatha Rai, Karnataka Minister in-charge of Dakshina Kannada district, and Nalin Kumar Kateel, Member of Parliament from Mangaluru, will be present on the occasion, says an invite by the company here.
