Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals has reported a consolidated net profit at Rs 156.18 crore for the year ended March 31, 2011 against a consolidated net loss at Rs 339.25 crore in the same period last fiscal.
In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company said that its consolidated total income for the fiscal ended March 31, 2011 grew to Rs 1,785.57 crore from Rs 1,343.45 crore last fiscal.
The board has recommended a dividend of Rs three per share on the equity share of Rs 10 each, it added.
