Drug firm Pfizer today reported a standalone net profit of Rs 18.37 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2014.
It had posted a net profit of Rs 47.60 crore for the October—December quarter of 2013—14 fiscal, Pfizer Ltd said in a filing to the BSE.
Net sales during the quarter under review were Rs 464.56 crore. It was Rs 247.70 crore in the year—ago period.
Pfizer said that the third quarter results were not comparable because of a scheme of amalgamation between the company and Wyeth.
“The results for the current quarter and nine months are not comparable,” it said.
