Power Mech Projects Limited has bagged projects worth about ₹500 crore. These include a ₹373-crore project for the mega Kaleshwaram project coming up in Telangana. The order entails construction of Ramayampet canal including distributory network for an irrigation ayacut of 41,203 acres under Konda Pochamma Sagar in Siddipet district of Telangana. The contract is to be completed within 12 months.
Overseas orders
The other orders include a ₹105 crore contract that entails erection and commissioning of Boiler and Auxiliaries of a 660 MW Unit One and auxiliary boiler for 660 MW plant at Maitree in Bangladesh, which is to be completed in 31 months.
The company’s subsidiary MAS Power Mech Arabia has received the mechanical assembly contract for the Shuaibah-3 second water expansion seawater desalination plant in Saudi Arabia, which is to be completed in seven months. It has also bagged another project in Saudi Arabia for mechanical assembly of steam turbine that has to be executed within 12 months.
