Coal production from Reliance Power Ltd’s mines at Sasan in Madhya Pradesh has commenced six months ahead of schedule.
The mines will meet the coal requirements of RPL’s Sasan Ultra Mega Power Plant.
The company aims to attain a production capacity of 20 million tonnes of coal a year from the mines linked to the Sasan power project in four years, it said in a statement.
