The boiler light up of the second 300 MW unit of Reliance Power Ltd’s over Rs 3,600-crore Butibori Thermal Power Plant near Nagpur has been achieved.
When the unit is commissioned by the year-end, the plant would attain its full capacity of 600 MW, RPL said in a communication to the stock exchanges.
The power generated from this compact thermal power plant would help meet the needs of Maharashtra.
