Automotive major Renault India has inaugurated its dealership, Sri Mothukuri Motors Pvt Ltd, at Karimnagar in Telangana and indicated its plans to increase the network of dealers from 190 now to 240 by next year.

The dealership, Renault’s seventh sales facility in Telangana, brings Renault’s total presence in Southern India to 52 sales and 37 service outlets.

Rafael Treguer, Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, Renault India, who inaugurated the dealership, in a statement said: “We have a clear focus on growing the Renault brand in India, and expanding our network presence is imperative to achieve this objective. With the overwhelming response to the Renault KWID, we are moving closer to our customers and providing them the best from Renault.”

Renault has an extensive network of dealers covering over 80 per cent of India. This fast-expanding network increased from 14 sales and service facilities in mid-2011 to 190 sales outlets and 151 after sales outlets, currently.

As part of its strategic focus on enhancing the customer brand experience, Renault has organised more than 500 service camps and customer events this year, translating into more than 50 such after-sales events across Renault dealerships every month.
