French car maker Renault expects to double its market share in India to five per cent in the next three to four years. According to Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO and Managing Director, Renault India, the company controls 2.6 per cent share in the Indian auto market currently. “We aim to take our market share in the country to 5 per cent over a period of three to four years. Apart from launching the new versions of some existing models, the company will also bring in a new model next year in the sub-4 lakh segment,” he told reporters here on Friday. He was here to unveil the company’s second dealership in Kolkata.
