Reliance Industries Ltd's Hazira Manufacturing Division (RIL-HMD) in Gujarat has been selected for the National Technology Award, 2011, the company said here today. The award is in recognition of the commercialisation of indigenously developed technology, “Commercialisation of Advanced Donor RELD1000 Technology”, for high performance Raffia grade polypropylene production, according to an RIL statement. A trophy and a cash award of Rs 10 lakh was presented to RIL-HMD on National Technology Day (May 11) at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, by Mr Pawan Kumar Bansal, Minister of Science and Technology.
