Ahmedabad-based Sadbhav Engineering Ltd today said the company has received a work order worth Rs 550 crore from South West Mining Ltd, Barmer in Rajasthan under the joint venture Sadbhav-Vishnushiva.
The company holds 75 per cent in the joint venture.
In a filing with the stock exchanges the company said the joint venture has been awarded the project for 'hiring heavy earth-moving equipments, with operators, maintenance staff and facilities for excavation work at pit B of Jalipa Lignite Mines.'
The duration of the contract period is seven years beginning from September 12.
Sadbhav Engineering shares ended positive at Rs 195.55, up 4.18 per cent from its previous close on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
