Skoda Auto has announced a 1 to 1.8 per cent price increase across its range of models comprising the Fabia, Rapid, Laura, Yeti and Superb models. The new prices are effective from early August.
The Volkswagen Group company has attributed the price revision to increasing input prices and volatile exchange rates.
The carmaker, which has recently seen success with the new Rapid sedan, saw its sales rise 40 per cent to 20,464 units between January and June this year. The whole Volkswagen Group, with Audi and Volkswagen, saw sales rise 10 per cent to 60,850 units.
