In commemoration of the centenary celebrations of its founder chairman late T.S. Santhanam, the board of Sundaram Finance has recommended an issue of bonus shares in the proportion of 1:1.
Sundaram Finance’s second quarter net profit has increased 22 per cent (year-on-year) to Rs 111 crore.
Disbursements for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 went up 8 per cent to Rs 2,454 crore. Disbursements for the first half of the year increased 18 per cent to Rs 4,867 crore.
The company’s gross NPA was 0.78 per cent and net NPA was 0.19 per cent for the first half ended September 30, 2012.
