Tata Power said it is in the process of increasing its capacity by 646.7 MW from green energy sources.
The company has a gross installed capacity of 912 MW from clean energy sources, of which 447 MW is hydropower and 465 MW from wind and solar.
Clean energy projects in progress include a 25-MW solar plant located at Palaswadi, Maharashtra, and a 32-MW wind farm at Ambheri, Maharashtra. Tata Power has a 26 per cent stake in the 126-MW Dagachhu Hydroelectric Power Project in Bhutan. It also has a power purchase agreement for importing and selling the power generated there in India.
