Tata Consultancy Services’ subsidiary CMC has won the eMaharashtra award.
The recognition is for providing a real time monitoring platform for the nine electricity generating stations of public sector company Mahagenco (Maharashtra State Power Generation Company).
The generation control room at Mahagenco’s head office in Mumbai is built to monitor all parameters of the power plants.
CMC said the performance monitoring system will lead to fuel cost reduction through optimised plant operations and help increase revenue through efficient management of load dispatch of the units.
