Toonz Retail India, a one-stop shop for catering to the needs of kids from 0-12 years, plans to invest around Rs 20 crore in India for further expansion in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Telangana.
The company is aiming to achieve a target of Rs 100 crore sales in the next two years.
Tooz Retail currently operates around 60 stores in 45 cities. The company said it is also planning to launch its two owned brands Wowmom and Superyoung in West Asia and Maldives.
Sharad Venkta, MD and CEO, Toonz Retail, said: “We are looking at expanding our store numbers to around 100 outlets in the next two years.Witnessing the increased demand for online shopping, we are coming up with our own e-commerce portal by March 31, 2015, to reach out to more customers.''
Toonz Retail also generates its business from its presence on popular e-commerce sites like Flipkart, Snapdeal, eBay, Firstcry and Amazon.
