TVS Motor Company’s total sales grew by 4 per cent to 1,97,905 vehicles in October, compared with 1,90,438 units registered during the same month a year ago.
Two-wheeler sales grew 2 per cent to 189,979 units (1,86,376 in October 2012), the company said in a statement.
Domestic two-wheeler sales grew by 2 per cent to 173,229 vehicles, while motorcycle sales grew by 13 per cent to 82,352 units during the month under review. Scooters registered sales of 42,124 units (43,973 units in October 2012).
The company's total exports grew 25 per cent to 23,154 units, while two-wheeler exports grew 4 per cent to 16,750 vehicles. TVS Motor’s three-wheeler sales grew 95 per cent to 7,926 units in October.
