United Breweries has sought an extension of a week to file the audited results of the company for the year 2011-2012.
In a filing with the BSE, the company said: “The Audit Committee met as scheduled but unfortunately the Audit Committee Chairman was abruptly called away to attend to a personal emergency.’’
UB has requested the BSE to condone the technical non-compliance and assured it that the company proposes to schedule a meeting not later than next week to consider and approve the audited financial results for the year ended March 31, 2012.
