The Reserve Bank of India has said that the United Bank of India might consider loan proposals up to ₹200 crore. However, such exposures could only be restricted to triple A-rated PSUs and corporate borrowers. The RBI’s permission is also subject to the bank’s credit-deposit ratio remaining within 70 per cent, and capital adequacy ratio staying at or above 9 per cent as on June 30, 2014.
