Venus Remedies’ net profit rose 24.77 per cent year-on-year to Rs 13.6 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 compared with Rs 10.9 crore during the same period last fiscal.
According to a BSE filing, net sales rose to Rs 98.8 crore from Rs 82.1 crore.
Meanwhile, the company shares ended at Rs 254.30 on the BSE today, down 2.64 per cent from the previous close.
