Welspun Energy has commissioned a 20-MW wind farm in Jaisalmer district, Rajasthan. The plant has 10 turbines for generating an average annual net production of 43.1 GWh. Welspun Energy Solar Rajasthan, a fully owned subsidiary of Welspun Energy, has signed a power purchase agreement for supply of the generated electricity with the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation. With this project, Welspun Energy has over 80 MW of clean energy projects in Rajasthan. It is also developing two 100 MW wind projects in Karnataka and Rajasthan.
