Westlife Development Ltd, the master franchisee of McDonald’s restaurants, has appointed Vikram Ogale as Director, National Supply Chain & Quality Assurance.
Ogale, who has taken over from Sriram Venkateswaran, will be overseeing the long-term supply chain strategy of McDonald’s India as well as deliver on operational supply chain goals.
Smita Jatia, Managing Director, Hardcastle Restaurants, said, “We have strengthened our senior management team with the appointment of Vikram Ogale as Director – National Supply Chain & Quality Assurance. Over the past 3 years with McDonald’s, Vikram has been able to de-risk commodity fluctuation with a robust plan and established pricing protocols with our suppliers. His extensive experience in supply chain management will help strengthen McDonald’s supply chain in the face of our planned expansion drive, where we intend to set up 175-250 new restaurants within the next 3-5 years in West and South India, as well as introduce new formats such as McCafe to our existing restaurants.”
