In the backdrop of clean energy becoming imperative in the growth story of the Asia Pacific region, the third edition of the Clean Energy Expo Asia is all set to debut in the island city of Singapore. With the Asia Pacific region accounting for much of the growth in green technology market, the Clean Energy Expo Asia will be an important platform for sustainable energy investors, innovators, government agencies and industry observers to network and uncover business opportunities that will shape the future of global energy supply.

Jointly organised by Koelnmesse and the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS), Clean Energy Expo Asia 2011 will be held from November 1-3 at the Suntec International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Singapore. The expo aims to propel Asia Pacific's dynamic and sustainable energy sector, expand business opportunities and uncover innovations that will shape the future of energy demand and supply, the CEEA said.

This year's Expo and Trade Fair is expected to feature over 170 international exhibitors, who will showcase the latest cutting-edge clean energy technologies, services and financing solutions.

Additionally, over 100 international experts are expected to share their knowledge and outlook in the areas of renewable energy, energy efficiency and sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region.

The event is expected to feature a stronger stance in encouraging business and networking among industry players, as well as educating new players in the market.

Putting theory into practice, the programme, Technology Scout aims to promote noteworthy sustainable energy business models and ideas into real life experiences.
