A 100-bed Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital was opened at Manesar, near Gurgaon in Haryana, by the Union Minister of Labour and Employment, Mr Mallikarjun Kharge, on Monday. The modern hospital, built at a cost of Rs 100 crore, will cater to workers employed in the industrial belt of IMT Manesar, Dharuhera and Gurgaon. There are around 6,000 employers and above four lakh insured persons and about 16 lakh beneficiaries in Gurgaon and Manesar area, said an official release.
