A three-day intercollegiate festival hosted by NMAM Institute of Technology began at Nitte in Udupi district on Thursday. Inaugurating it, Mr Ananthakrishna, Chairman of Karnataka Bank, said knowledge and talent will stand in students' endeavour towards good life. Dr S.Y. Kulkarni, Principal of the college, said that nearly 1,000 students from 50 engineering colleges are attending the event. He said the event is a platform for technical students to exhibit cultural and literary talents. These talents are considered as one of the attributes of a global engineer, he said.
