The National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises here today.
The MoU for 2011-12 lays the road map for NSIC to provide all-round services to MSMEs. It was approved by the task force established by Department of Public Enterprise (DPE), Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises. The targets for 2011-12 have been set at a higher level than what the corporation achieved during 2010-11, said Mr Virbhadra Singh, Union Minister, MSME.
The MoU was signed by Mr Uday Kumar Varma, Secretary, MSME, and Dr HP Kumar, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, NSIC.
