RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan on Tuesday called on the new Finance Minister Arun Jaitley at the latter's North Block office.
The meeting saw discussions around crucial economic issues, including taming of inflation.
According to Rajan, further easing of gold related curbs will depend on the policies to be rolled out by the new dispensation at the Centre.
