Vastra, an international fair to showcase the entire gamut of products and services of the Indian textile and apparel industry is to be held in Jaipur later this year.
Addressing media persons on the fair to be held between November 22 and 25, Mr Alok Kumar, General Manager, Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation Ltd, said the fair is a novel attempt at showcasing ‘fibre to fabric' including jute and jute products, allied products, dyes and chemicals, plant and machinery, services of the textile and apparel industry.
The event is being organised jointly by the RIICO and FICCI will showcase India as a sourcing hub and investment destination.
Mr Kumar said over 300 exhibitors will showcase their products and services over a 10,000 sq.m exhibition area. Visitor profile is expected to span buyers, traders, importers and exporter, fashion designers, builders, investors and representatives of the hospitality and healthcare sector, he said.
