Mr Kommu Bhasker, the Group General Manager of Minerva Group of Hotels has advised students to look for every opportunity to share knowledge with others so that they would stand to improve their personality and general skills.

Delivering the BL Club talk on “Key to Career Making” organised at the Potti Sriramulu Chaluvadi Mallikarjuna Rao College of Engineering and Technology here on Friday, Mr Bhasker said that the young generation should gain confidence to face the challenges of the present day world.

He said that there was no problem that had no solution and with positive attitude it would be possible to overcome any difficulty and painful experience.

Mr Bhasker asked the students to learn, change and improve themselves on a constant basis and he made it clear that there was no learning without change.

Drawing the difference between appearance and behaviour, Mr Bhasker said youngsters should give equal importance to personality grooming, clothing and hygiene just as they should focus on right and effective communication, social interaction and body language.

In his speech, Mr M. Surendranath, the College Convenor of PG Courses, said that participation in extra-curricular activities would prepare the students for life and the interaction with experienced people from industry would make them ready for future challenges.

He advised the students to always aim at reaching excellence in their own way regardless of how talented in some areas they would be.

Mr K. Chadrasekharan, Regional General Manager of The Hindu, outlined the aims of the Business Line Club activities as being mainly intended to build a bridge between the colleges and the experts in various sectors so that the students would get the much needed focus.
