Agrimart, the one stop retail chain for agriculture equipments has opened an outlet in Meerpet in Ranga Reddy district on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
The chain of Ratnagiri Impex, Bangalore, part of the Annapurna Group has three more outlets in Andhra Pradesh at Vijayawada, Guntur and Karimnagar. Ms Rama Lakshmi, Managing Director of Serifed inaugurated the store today.
About 150 types of agricultural equipment would be available at the Agrimart. Some of them include, weed cutters, rotary tiller, trimming machine, lawn mower, high pressure washers, sprayers etc., a press release from the company said.
The CEO of Ratnagiri Impex, Mr S.A. Gopalakrishna said the mart will not just offer agri equipment but make efforts to increase awareness about the new technologies and manufacturing equipment that is coming. It has joined hands with global agriculture technology manufacturing companies to provide quality products to the farmers.
The Bangalore-based group has opened 44 such district level agrimarts across the country. It is essentially into agriculture, plantation and farming technology marketing and distribution.
