Edible oils market ruled weak on Wednesday tracking bearish futures amid slack demand. On the BCE, groundnut and cotton refined oil declined by ₹15 and ₹1 for 10 kg each. Soyabean refined oil dropped by ₹5 while palmolein increased by ₹1. Sunflower and rapeseed oil were unchanged. Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹470, super palmolein ₹494 and soyabean refined oil ₹625. Ruchi’s rates: palmolein ₹465, soyabean refined oil ₹615 and sunflower refined oil ₹730. Allana traded palmolein for ₹471, soya refined oil ₹625 and sunflower oil ₹735. In Saurashtra-Rajkot, increased arrivals pulled down groundnut oil telia tin to ₹1,450 (1,490) and loose (10 kg) to ₹925 (950).
