Bearish trend in sugar

Sugar market continued to be in bear grip on weak mill tender rates amid slack demand. At the Vashi wholesale market, prices were down by ₹10-30 a quintal as Maharashtra’s mills sold the sweetener for ₹10-20 lower. Naka rates were steady. Arrivals were at 59-60 truck loads and local dispatches were at 57-58 loads. The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates: S-grade ₹3,050-3,136 and M-grade ₹3,142-3,370. Naka delivery rates: S-grade ₹3,020-3,250 and M-grade ₹3,080-3,350.
