The government has extended the import restriction on peas, which includes yellow peas, green peas, dun peas and kaspa peas till December 31. The order for restricting imports has been issued with the approval of the Commerce & Industry Minister, the Director General of Foreign Trade said. The previous notification issued by DGFT restricting import of peas was effective till September 30.
