The Sikkim Government has ambitious plans to make the State fully organic by 2015, and make it a hotspot for organic products, State Agriculture Minister, Mr D. N. Takarpa, said on Friday .
Efforts were on in that direction and after the goal is reached in 2015, the value of the organic products of the State would yield good value, not only in the domestic market, but also in the international market. He was speaking on the sidelines of the ‘Sikkim Food Processing Investors meet' here.
In his inaugural address, Mr Takarpa told the investors and stakeholders how the State Government had been instrumental in taking the agri and food processing industries of the State forward with investor-friendly policies.
