The apex body of planters — United Planters’ Association of Southern India (UPASI) — has scheduled its 125th Annual Conference on September 29 at Glenview, Coonoor.
Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, will be the Chief Guest and Sunny Verghese, co-founder and CEO of Olam Group, Singapore and Chairman, World Business Council for Sustainable Development, will be the Guest of Honour.
As a prelude to the annual conference, the association is organising a one-and-half day session titled “Winds of Change” on September 28 and the forenoon of Sept 29.
