A group of anti-corruption activists led by Dr Subramanian Swamy will file a complaint with the CBI on Monday seeking registration of a case against unknown persons with regard to black money stashed away in tax havens.
Dr Swamy, who heads an Action Committee against corruption in India, said the group will meet on Monday to take steps to get registered an FIR.
“I will be meeting the CBI Director on Monday,” he said in a statement.
Earlier, Dr Swamy had said, “If they refuse to register our complaint, we will approach the court to issue a direction in this regard as is the case with 2G case.”
“We also demand an Ordinance be issued to nationalise all foreign accounts held by Indian citizens in these ‘havens’,” Dr Swamy had said.
