The ruling BJP has termed the first Rail Budget presented by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu as revolutionary. Party leader and Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said the budget will help in modernising the railways.
He added that the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reflecting in the budget. "This is absolutely a revolutionary budget. It addresses the real issue of resource crunch. It will ensure more safety, more speed and more facilities to the railways," he added.
