Senior IAS officer and Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams, Mr L.V. Subrahmanyam, appeared in a special court of the Central Bureau of Investigation in Emaar Properties case on Monday.
The court, which adjourned the case to July 9, had directed Mr Subrahmanyam to provide a bond and personal guarantee for Rs 25,000.
The case pertains to alleged irregularities in land transfer and development and sale of villas and apartments in a township jointly developed by Emaar MGF and Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation.
Another senior officer and former home secretary of Government of Andhra Pradesh, Mr B.P. Acharya, was earlier arrested by CBI.
