Following a landslide last night at Kashedi Ghat along the Mumbai-Goa National Highway in Raigad district, traffic on this arterial coastal road has been affected. Vehicles were moving in a single lane along the Ghat. To worsen the situation, a tanker turned turtle at Kharpeda, between Pen and Panvel, blocking a part of the road, police said.
There was a let up in the rains, which had been lashing the district for the last couple of days, and no major flooding was reported anywhere.
