Alliance Air, a wholly owned subsidiary of Air India Ltd, will resume operations from Kochi to Agatti and back effective March 1.
The ATR aircraft will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday’s, the flight will depart Kochi these days at 1020 hrs arrive into Agatti at 1140 hrs return departure Agatti will be at 1200 hrs same day and arrival at Kochi 1320 hrs.
The four-times-a-week service on the Agatti sector will be of immense help to the Islanders, said an official spokesperson of the airline.
He also said it will also increase the tourist inflow to the picturesque coral islands of Lakshwadeep.
