The Airports Authority of India has launched a mobile app for passengers and visitors at Chennai airport. All information that is spread across the airport’s website will be collated and provided in the app to help passengers search for any information and reduce them to reach help desk or any person for basic information, which could be served through this app.
The app is available on Android, and is being developed for iOS and Windows platforms, according to a press release from AAI.
An interesting feature in the app is my place, which shows where the user is currently and direction to the nearest facility in the airport. All the prominent locations have been mapped using GPS. A passenger can use select the location from the menu list using the tab provided on top right corner. It shall provide the position information with respect to the selected destination and move along as the passenger moves to towards the destination, says the release.
The app can be downloaded from Play Store in https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brokenglass.aai
