Boeing is liable to pay compensation to Air India, the Civil Aviation Minster, Ajit Singh, has said.
"Let us get some clarity on the situation before any decision can be taken."
He said there is no decision or thinking on pruning number of aircraft ordered by Air India.
The Minister was speaking to media a day after Air India grounded all six 787 in its fleet.
