The Indian Navy plans to launch vision document, ‘Aatmanirbhar Indian Naval Aviation: Technological Roadmap 2047,’ at Aero India 2025.
Presently, with over 60 warships are under construction in Indian shipyards, the Indian Navy has transitioned from a Buyer’s Navy to a Builder’s Navy.
As part of the static display, the Indian Navy will exhibit MiG 29K 4th generation carrier-borne fighter aircraft, Kamov 31 Airborne Early Warning helicopter, Seaking 42B and MH 60 R Anti-Submarine and Anti-Ship helicopters.
Additionally, the Indian Navy will display the Light Combat Aircraft (Navy) in the exhibition area. This aircraft has been designed by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) and manufactured by HAL.
The biennial Aero India 2025 is being held at Air Force Station Yelahanka, Bengaluru, from February 10-14, 2025. It provides a unique platform for users, R&D establishments, academia, industry partners, MSMEs, and startups to interact and contribute to the national vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ through advancements in the aviation sector.
The event also serves as a platform for Naval Aviation to present its future requirements while enabling the industry to showcase its capabilities in the three critical areas of Systems, Structures, and Software, which are essential to any naval aviation platform.
