IRCTC — the ticket booking and catering arm of the Indian Railways — reported a 14 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to ₹341 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024. The State-run company had posted a net profit of ₹300 crore in the year-ago period.
Revenue from operations stood at ₹1,225 crore, up 10 per cent y-o-y. Revenue from ops in the year-ago-period stood at ₹1,116 crore.
The board has also declared a second interim dividend of ₹3 per share for the shareholders. The company has fixed February 20 as the record date for the purpose of payment of second interim dividend of the FY 2024-25.
The board “declared 2nd interim dividend at the rate ₹3 per equity share of face value of ₹2 each — at 150 per cent for FY25,” the company said in an exchange filing.
