SpiceJet is to pay Rs 25 crore to Airports Authority of India by November 29 to clear its outstanding dues.
AAI had threatened to put the airline and Jet Airways on cash-and-carry if dues are not settled by the month end.
Official sources told Business Line that another Rs 15-18 crore which SpiceJet paid AAI was earlier not showing is now being adjusted.
Similarly, Jet Airways has agreed to pay Rs 80 crore by November 29 and another Rs 12 crore of its dues by December 10.
