AirAsia’s free seats campaign is back again, this time with three million promotional seats available in its route network.

This comes after its offer of one million free seats in September from Kuala Lumpur to domestic and international destinations to celebrate 200 million guests using the airline.

In the latest promotional offer, guests will be able to travel from May 5, 2014, up to January 31, 2015. These seats are available for booking at www.airasia.com from November 25 until December 1, 2013. Free Seats are from 0 base fare with applicable taxes and fees from Rs 500 one way, according to a press release.

Free seats are available from Kuala Lumpur. Guests can book at offer price of Rs 2,704 from Chennai to Kuala Lumpur and avail free seat from Kuala Lumpur to international destinations such as Langkawi, Penang, Johor Bahru, Kuching , Kota Kinabalu , Singapore, Jakarta, Bandung, Bangkok, Hatyai, Surat Thani, Manila, Cebu, Phnom Penh and others.

The campaign is in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2014. There will be many international travellers who will arrive in Malaysia through various international hubs that AirAsia operates.

Siegtraund Teh, Group Chief Commercial Officer, AirAsia, in the release said the introduction of 20 new city pairs for Fly-Thru service is an opportunity for guests to connect from many places conveniently to their preferred destination.

AirAsia has introduced new Fly-Thru service from Chennai via Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Phuket, Krabi, Macau, Singapore. In addition, AirAsia is also introducing 20 new Fly-Thru destinations from Kuala Lumpur to and from domestic destinations such as Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Penang and Langkawi to international destinations across the region beginning Monday.

The service enables guests to connect flights conveniently from one destination to another without the hassle of collecting their bags at any stopover transit point, as well as quick transit as the time in between the connecting flights will not exceed the 90 minutes – 6 hours window.

Meanwhile, the airline is celebrating five years in India by offering Rs 500 base fare. It is offering an all-in-fare inclusive of taxes and fees starting at Rs 2,259 from Kochi to Kuala Lumpur, Rs 2,704 from Chennai to Bangkok/Kuala Lumpur, Rs 3,269 from Bangalore to Kuala Lumpur, Rs 3,228 from Kolkata to Kuala Lumpur, the release said.
